This whisky started its life in Canada where it is distilled from 100% Rye, where it is aged for a number of years before being transported to the stunning Whistlepig Farm in Vermont where it rests until its ready to bottle.
This cask is a bit of an unusual one, as we were sent a sample of the whisky. Having tried it, we decided that this was one that we wanted for ourselves so managed to secure the rest of the barrel.
This single cask rested for ten long years and offers hints of clove, mint, char which is complemented by a delicious caramel and butterscotch finish.
